My Moment of Yes!

I turn 34 this year y'all! 34! While that may not seem terribly old or terribly young, it really has given me this thought of "Wow, basically 35, which is halfway to 40!" 40!! Holy, let's go jump out of an airplane!



Once I turned 30, I think I blinked one good blink & hello 2018 & impending 34. Seriously, where there heck did the last four years go? Oh yes, I remember now; Benjamin. My body & overall health had become a back burner issue in the last five years & I'm pretty sure we can all say that as parents (if you're a parent.) I'm not really sure when I went to the dentist last (eek!); don't judge me. I also am not totally sure the last I actually saw myself participating in an exercise routine, unless chasing a child counts as cardio.

I sometimes find myself wincing in the bathroom mirror at those fine lines that have begun appearing, thinking "where did those bad boys come from." And other days, I wonder how we managed to get through a meal time without complete chaos. But these are the days I live for; these are what being a mother & 34 are all about.
