Something happened when I had Benjamin. Over time, I've taken consensus & it turns out, I'm not the only one, but my hair has turned to a loss cause aboard the hot mess express. My hair style can currently be classified as "she has kids" hair. It gets washed, blow dried & occasionally has a date with the hair straightener, but that is it.
If it's not falling out in clumps (I'm going to be bald soon), its fine, tangled & basically more problem than its worth. Then I paired up with MyLemonCrate. Our family has gradually been working over to a more natural, green living lifestyle, so adding a bunch of chemicals to my hair was out. MyLemonCrate is a natural wellness subscription box that takes the guess work out of creating products for a healthy lifestyle.
Each month, MyLemonCrate arrives in your mailbox with all the supplies you will need to create products that are not only beneficial to your life but are free of all the hidden chemicals that our family is doing our best to avoid. September's box was all about the hair care & I couldn't have been more thrilled to bust open the box to see what was in store.
Inside the September box were supplies to create the following: hair rinse, hair detangler, henna (for hair or tattoo) & a shampoo bar. I quickly knew the hair detangler was going to be my first "project" & quickly got to work. All my supplies were included with the the exception of distilled water, which can be easily achieved by boiling some tap water. The instruction cards provided for each tutorial is easily laid out with steps & tips to achieve the results that you're looking for in each product; I know I'll be putting them in my recipe box, so I can remake them when the time comes for a refill.
Box themes options include:
Another thing I love about MyLemonCrate is their website layout. Besides their option for the subscription box, they also offer a host of items that compliment the natural living lifestyle, like glass straws, EO diffusing jewelry & roller balls.

Subscription boxes come with two options, DIY (the option I received) or premade, if whipping up products isn't your speed. Just in time for the holidays or a birthday gift, MyLemonCrate is a great solution for friends & family. Prices start at $29.00 for a month to month subscription; prepayment of months at a time are also available. If you are on social media, check them out on Facebook or Instagram for sneak peeks for upcoming boxes.
Christmas time is coming up & I can't wait to see what MyLemonCrate has in store for the holiday season; I'm thinking Peppermint will be somewhere. Any guesses? Be sure to head over to the website & check out all that they offer; tell them Bethani sent you.
